Why invest in Newark?
Newark hosts two major universities (NJIT & Rutgers-Newark) and several smaller colleges, with over 30,000 students and postdocs, of whom 3,000 are internationals. Despite the large student population, only a small number of campus ministries are active. “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2). Knowing that our Good Shepherd cares for the one lost sheep, we are committed to following our Lord to reach out to the lost in Newark.
Why a building?
A building is only a means, but it facilitates consistent presence in the campus neighborhood for the formation of a Gospel community. Imagine a cafe-like space, bustling with conversations, laughter, and prayers – some enjoying coffee and snacks, some immersed in one-on-one conversations, some studying, some mentoring and counseling, some engaged in small-group Bible study, some praying together, and some basking in moments of stillness. Such a place fosters face-to-face interactions, meaningful conversations, personal relationships, and deeper spiritual growth.
Four Ways to Donate
Noam Christian Study Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

(1) ACH or Credit Card
​​ACH (Automated Clearing House) is a secure bank-to-bank transfer with a minimal fixed fee ($0.25 per transaction regardless of the amount). ACH is the most cost-effective and convenient option. Once you set up your account information, making subsequent donations via ACH is easy. Unlike credit card transactions, ACH can take several days to settle and is available only within the US.

You have an option to choose either ACH or credit card with the following QR code or button. Please note that when choosing ACH, you need to click on your checking account (assuming you've already set up your account info); otherwise, processing fees might show up.
(2) PayPal Giving Fund
PayPal Giving Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity that receives donations through PayPal and grants the funds to charities (in this case, Noam Christian Study Center).
There are no fees, and we receive the full amount of your donations as long as you pay from a checking account, and not with a credit card. The receipts for your tax-deductible donations come from PayPal Giving Fund.
